While standing in the queue at Tesco today I overheard a couple having an argument (I didn’t catch the whole argument so I have no idea what they were arguing over) and the woman uses the usual line of “don’t lie to me, do I look stupid?!?!” and it made me wonder what he was lying about.
Now lets face it everybody lies, from little white lies like “your bum doesn’t look big at all” when clearly it’s the size of a small country or great big stinking lies like “I went to the pub with my mates” when clearly you’ve been having it away with that girl from the office. But just because everybody does it does that make it right to lie?
