I agree with Siobhan that lying is very complex and as such we can not make a universal rule that tells us when we can and can not lie. I do however believe that lying for the “right reason” is not necessarily wrong and nether is telling the occasional white lie. I also believe that it would be very hard to agree as to when we should draw the line on lying and rule it as being bad.
Like Siobhan I agree that it is possible that not everyone can tell the truth all of the time. Sometimes their life may depend on not revealing something and lying instead to cover up the truth.
