Tattooing and body modification can we a wonderful work of art when done by a professional in the right environment but more and more people insist on going to dirty, not-so-good places just because they are cheaper. Isn't it worth paying that bit extra knowing that you will get what you want in a clean and safe environment?
People have been piercing, tattooing, scaring and modifying their bodies for thousands of years from tribes in Kenya to todays mainstream culture. Since the move into mainstream culture we have heard more and more stories about 'bad' experiences when it comes to modyfying the body.
One 13 year old girl decided to pierce her own naval and ended up perforating her intestine. She ended up in hospital with a nasty infection and her mother was found guilty of child neglect. All that just for a bit of metal in her belly.
