response to chloe's blog on drugs

While reading Chloe's blog on drugs i realised how my attitude to drugs is wrong. I tend to think that smoking cannabis, although wrong, is sort of acceptable. I work at a local fast food restaurant in Willenhall and i can guarentee at least once a week i will be greeted at the window with a strong smell of 'weed' and a mouth full of smoke. Yet i accept it as it occurs so regularly. However, if i was greeted at the window by a man with a needle sticking out of their arm full of heroin i think i would be appauled and more than likely report it to a manager so they can take furthur action by calling the police. But isn't that totally wrong how i accept people smoking cannabis and yet wouldn't accept someone taking heroin? why do i believe one is less 'bad' than the other? I think this is because of the way society treats these drugs.

As Chloe points out in her blog both drugs are illegal and neither should be classed as being more 'bad' than the other as both drugs are wrong to take.
